We liked the hotel, especially the location, the breakfast, and the cocktail hour. One odd thing happened: a member of housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30 am to tell us that we should check out by 11 am (that has never happened at any other hotel we've stayed in.) At 10 am while we were dressing, she used a key to open our door without knocking. She immediately slammed the door when she saw we were still in the room. It didn't help matters that she was deaf and didn't speak, so it was hard to understand why she was knocking on our door. I'm all for hiring people who are deaf, but when in customer facing roles, you need to find someway for her to be able to communicate so that customers understand what she is trying to tell us.
