Recently, I visited your hotel for a business stay. I frequent the area often and was excited to try a new hotel in a great location. Upon entering the hotel was beautiful with an old school charm. The front desk attendant was with another guest when I arrived. When it was my turn, the attendant was kind, courteous and great customer service. The check in process was efficient.
I also visited the restaurant that evening. There were 3 guests at the bar when I arrived and 1 bartender. She was courteous and my cocktail was delicious and well made. I also ordered food that was well made, fresh and extremely flavorful.
The staff and customer service was great each time I visited the restaurant, walked past the front desk, received a bucket of ice or received towels from the housekeeper.
However, the hotel common areas and my hotel room need a deep clean. There were concerning signs of lack of upkeep throughout the property - such as dingy paint in the hallways and doorframes. I saw at least 4 different strands of hair that weren’t mine in the bathroom. There was dust on the bathroom countertop which is a concerning indication leaving me wondering if water is used regularly on the countertop. This was in addition to the dust collected inside the lamps.
Overall, the staff and setup of the property is nice. But, cleanliness was below standard.
