I paid for two nights and left after one. The TV didn’t work, there was no hot water, and the shower was visibly dirty. After a long day, I also waited about 15 minutes just to check in because no one was at the front desk.
The manager was unprofessional and disengaged. He walked right past me and said someone else would help instead of checking me in himself. I only knew he was the manager because a security guard pointed it out during an unrelated conversation. He eventually retrieved my bag from storage, but the overall experience felt disorganized and poorly run.
To their credit, staff did ask if they could help resolve the issues, but by that point I had multiple friends staying at the hotel who were also having problems—one of whom had already changed rooms twice and was still unhappy with the third. That same friend showed me photos of cockroaches in the shower, which I’ve included with this review. That didn’t inspire any confidence that switching rooms would solve anything.
The only bright spot was the daytime front desk attendant, who was excellent—friendly and accommodating.
At $600 per night, this is completely unacceptable. If this were a $200 hotel, maybe you’d tolerate it. At this price point, it’s inexcusable. It was bad enough that I forfeited my second night and checked into another hotel.
